VP Backs Athlete Against Critics
JD Vance threw his support behind the embattled basketball star this week. The Vice President made clear that speaking truth should not come at a personal cost.
‘Sometimes when you’re courageous in this country, some of the worst people in the world try to attack you,’ Vance told supporters. ‘What I would tell Sophie and anybody else is, keep speaking your mind.’
